Meet Dr. Abbas, Periodontist
Dr. Abbas is originally from Huntington, WV. He completed a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science at Marshall University. He was accepted to the WVU School of Dentistry, and obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. After dental school, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the UMKC School of Dentistry. He then moved to Houston, Texas to attend The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Dentistry where he completed his Periodontics residency and obtained his Master of Science in Dentistry. Dr. Abbas is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
At our practice, Dr. Abbas serves as our in-house periodontal specialist, providing advanced periodontal and implant-focused care. His expertise includes complex procedures such as tooth extractions, dental implant placement, vertical sinus lifts, osseous and LANAP® surgeries, implant debridement and removals, gum grafting, frenectomies, gingivectomies, and diagnostic biopsies. His advanced training allows patients to receive comprehensive periodontal and surgical care comfortably in one location, with a strong focus on long-term oral health and implant success.
